Misty Nichols customizes a therapeutic massage based on the needs of her clients. She specializes in deep tissue and swedish techniques and often incorporates acupressure into her session. She is passionate about a holistic approach to health and feels massage therapy is beneficial not only for the physical body, but for mental and emotional health as well. Misty’s compassionate presence is intuitive, she has the ability to provide therapeutic work, while still allowing her clients to receive a very relaxing session.
Misty grew up in a small town in western Kansas and moved to Nashville, TN in 2003. She grew up in a family that always tried natural remedies first to treat any ailment. Her parents own a natural health care shop and her mother is a massage therapist. It seemed fitting that Misty also enter into the natural health field, so she attended Cumberland Massage Institute in Brentwood, TN. She graduated in 2005, along with passing the National Certification for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork exam. She worked in TN as a massage therapist for 13 years, and recently moved to Alabama to continue her career.
She has completed coursework in low back and cervical spine disorders, neuromuscular for head and neck, craniosacral therapy, and more.
